Firstly, New; Thank you for your interest, I'm sorry you managed to stumble upon Liridon during our worst time. But just because you haven't had a chance to experience Liridon like I have doesn't mean I don't appreciate you. The fact that you even showed interest means the world to me and Nikkayla.

Old Players; thank you for sticking around with us, you're wonderful and we both love you very much, thank you for making Liridon special.

Now you're all probably thinking something along the lines of 'this sounds bad', and that really depends on how you look at it. Nikkayla and I have done a lot of thinking recently and we've decided that Liridon has grown stale - it's going no where and it hurts us to see it this quiet. I'd love to say this is just a phase, but Liridon has been quiet for a while now. We don't want to see it die, we'd rather put it out of its misery before that happens.

The way we see it, Liridon has very little to offer. Because it's such an open world there is nothing to strive for, and we feel like people these days want more of a competition on their rpg (whether its with themselves or with someone else). We don't want to ruin what Liridon is by implementing a system that messes with his free-for-all attitude.

Therefore Nikkayla and I have decided to hiatus Liridon. It may be making a return in the future, but right now we think it needs to be put to bed to have a rest. BUT that doesn't mean that we want to say goodbye to you all.

Nikkayla and I, with the help of a friend or two, have been planning to open another rpg, one that offers many opportunities without taking away the ease of casual roleplaying. I would LOVE it if you could just give us a bit of an insight about what you look for in an rpg and why you chose Liridon?

Thank you again for your support throughout Liridon's journey and I'm sorry for doing this. The website will remain up so people can access html and previous posts, we won't put it on official hiatus until the new site is well underway.
